Types of PrePlanning

When setting up an PrePlan with the funeral home, they will give you two options to fund if you choice so; following is a brief description of the difference. The Funeral Director will explain these different choices further and can answer any questions you may have.   

• Revocable: Both the funeral arrangements specified in the PreNeed Statement and this Agreement, together or separately, are revocable by the Purchaser at any time prior to the rendering of funeral services by the Funeral Firm or the providing of any merchandise, with the total amount of any deposit or deposits and interest income being fully refundable. 

• Irrevocable: The acceptance of this Agreement creates an Irrevocable Trust which means that any attempted withdrawal or other disposition of the deposits on Account plus accrued interest, for any purpose, will be and must legally be refused by the Funeral Director, the Trustees, the Trust fund and any officer, employee, or agent. Completion of this Irrevocable Trust Agreement shall constitute an itemized contract for future delivery of the merchandise specified or its comparable substitute, subject to the other provisions of this Agreement.
