And now they are all gone. My Aunt Rose was probably my mother's closest sibling and best friend. I have so many wonderful childhood memories of times that we spent with her and her family. During the summer months, my mom and I would take the bus from White Plains Road to Aunt Rose"s house in Throggs Neck so that we could spend the day at either Singer Beach, Golden Beach or the Bronx Beach and Pool. Aunt Rose was so wonderful to be around. She was always upbeat from the perspective of an adolescent. To my parent's regret, she taught me how to whistle using my fingers. It took some time, but I got the hang of it. I was envied by all my friends for my new found skill. She also showed me how to blow bubbles with Bazooka chewing gum. In my young eyes, she was cool. As I got older, her home was warm and inviting. She was the rallying poiint for so many impromptu family get togethers. Before becoming ill, she would always put out an wonderful Italian meal for all to enjoy at a moments notice. The years have passed and I have been so far away from the Bronx. I have missed her, but it comforts me to know that she is reunited with Uncle John and her Toscano siblings: Ray, Mike, Joe, Angelo, Mary, Jimmie, Bobbie and my mom, Franny.

I am so sorry for your loss. Ms Rose had such a giving spirit and will be truly missed. Please be comforted knowing what 1Peter 5:7 says: "Throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you." With Sympathy.
